Editorial Standards
LOOP Nashville is an independent publication covering Nashville's Music City Loop through reporting, public records, project updates and explainers.
Sourcing
We prioritize primary public records, official documents, direct company and agency statements, and on-the-record confirmations. Secondary reporting is credited when it contributes material information. Claims, projections and conclusions supplied by a company, public official, consultant or advocate are attributed to that source.
News and editorial material
News coverage tells readers what happened, why it matters, how we know and what remains uncertain. Editorial, advocacy and hypothetical concepts are kept separate from the active News report. Archived editorial pages may remain accessible through their original links for historical continuity, but are not presented as current reporting.
Corrections and updates
Material factual corrections are disclosed on the article. When later information changes an older story, LOOP Nashville adds a visible updated date or editor's note rather than making the original report appear to have known facts that emerged later.
Images and illustrations
Documentary photographs and official renderings carry source information when available. Images created by LOOP Nashville are labeled as illustrations. Hypothetical route or station artwork is identified as conceptual and not an official project design.
Independence
LOOP Nashville is not affiliated with The Boring Company or the Music City Loop project. Questions, corrections and source material may be sent to scoop@loopnashville.com.
